1. Open the event page and tap Get tickets.
2. Choose how many tickets you want of each type.
3. Enter your name, phone number and email.
4. Pay with M-Pesa (approve the prompt on your phone) or with a card.

Your tickets arrive by SMS and email within seconds, and they are always in My tickets on this phone.

Go to My tickets and choose Recover a ticket. Enter the phone number you used at checkout and the code we send you. Every ticket on that number appears straight away.

EventYangu tickets are signed and the QR code refreshes every 30 seconds. This stops screenshots and fakes. Show the live ticket from My tickets; it works offline too.

Go to Sell tickets and sign in with your phone number. The wizard walks you through details, date and venue, poster, tickets and publishing, with a live preview. Your first paid event is reviewed by our team before it goes live, usually within a few hours.

Your balance updates with every sale. Once your KYC is approved you can withdraw to M-Pesa, Paybill, Till or bank, free and same day, or instantly for KES 50. Unverified organizers have 20% held in reserve until the event ends.

Each event shows its refund policy on the event page. If an event is cancelled, every buyer is refunded in full, fees included, to the original payment method, and told by SMS. See our refund policy for details.

Make sure your phone is on, unlocked and has network. If the prompt still doesn’t come, use the Pay by Paybill option on the payment screen; your order code is the account number. We will never ask for your M-Pesa PIN.
